I have heard harp players say James Cotton used these etc.. but I didn't know if it was an amp harp players want. If so let me know. It is a Pac-Amp/Magnatone model 382/280A. The top of the line twin twelve 40 watts from the early 60's. It has monsterous tone. Like a bassman but with more fattness and warmth to me.

Magnatone is a revered name in some circles. Is that 2x12 and 2 smaller speakers in that cab? 2 channels I'm guessing. Could have possibilities for a one man band, guitar in one side and a 585 mic in the other for harp/vocs. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene

What are you asking for it? That amp should have two output transformers and four power tubes? It's like two amps in one? Stereo Maggie's like that are more desirable to guitar players than harp players and bring good money. Maggie's do make great harp amps because a lot of them where built for accordion. If you put that on eBay guitar players would spend a lot more money to get that amp because most harp players don't know what it is.

Looks like it might be similar to the new Magnatone Stereo Twilighter. Bet it's a beast! ----------
