Isn't it strange? These people who wrote some of the coolest music ever end up being cover bands of their own material.

That's the point Kingo. John, Paul George and Ringo could get up there and it still would be like a cover. They're old and very different people to the young turks who wrote this stuff.

If John and George got up and did it, that would be somewhat more than a cover...they are beyond 'old and different'.

What's the point of getting old then...

I don't think Paul is going to sing about his prostate and gout..

I think you still get to lay claim to your youth when singing your own songs...

He's old, but could still get plenty of what he was singing for in the first place...
