When I first started with the Blues Harp Jaybirds version of Doublecrossed and Blue is the one tune that made me really want to take this thing further. It's a Steve Baker tune but I feel Steves version that is on YouTube (with all due respects) has had the tone modified so much, it spoils it for me.

Here is a link to "Jaybirds YouTube video of Doublecrossed and Blue. It's a tune which I am trying to get to grips with but I think it's gonna take me quite some time. I always listen to this when I hit the wall. It encourages me to plough on. Embedding the video has been disabled but the link works fine.

My question to the forum is, do you know of any other harp tunes similar to this which are worthy of deeper study.

Jaybird was a forum member but I haven't seen him post for a while. Hope he is still playing 'cos a while back I think he gave away a whole library of Blues Classics.
