robbert, I am in the process of developing a case that uses two of my unique Kydex thermoplastic liners as featured in my Compact case, above. It will essentially be two Compact 7-harp cases combined into one with one outer leather shell, holding 14 harps. Again, the case will be rigid -- no concern about sagging here.
I can offer several means of attachment, including a shoulder strap, stitched-in belt loop on the back of the case or drop belt loops from the d-rings. I can even make a shoulder holster rig for a true "concealed-carry" option.
Coming soon!
Thanks, Michelle

mlefree...I really like what I have seen of your line.

Even though the Seydel beltpack is durable, functional, and discreet, it's not entirely stylish...but it is inexpensive. I'm still finding out what works for my situation.

I like the idea of the 14 harp holder...that's about what I would like to have available on my person. In addition, I'm wondering how much extra bulk a horizontal 'sleeve' for a 4 octave chromatic harp would add to the case. I think we are talking about a shoulder bag, at this point.

Even though I love the cut of the top of your 7 harp case, I think a top that would be easy to fold back to access the harps would be better for my purposes.

Anyway, your designs are cool, and the 7 harp carrying case is very affordable for a stylish, handmade leather case.

Leave them in the car.
The question anticipates playing through a vocal mic on the PA, right? The only alternative is there's an amp set up for harp in which case sitting in is anticipated and discretion unnecessary (mostly).
PA, I avoid. It's just not real satisfying. I will switch to my 57 from Greg and it does help. It would also be another thing to "hide" that I'd leave in the car.

robbert, when I hear a good idea, I listen!

I have created a 14-diatonic harmonica case in the image of my "Compact 7" case. I'm calling it the "Compact 14." I made it, at your suggestion, so that the top has a male snap at the base so that it can be "parked" out of the way, giving full access to the instruments.

Thanks for the idea!

Michelle

That looks good! Customers should be flocking to your website for further information...as a matter of fact, that is what I'm going to do right now.

Mlefree, do you have a price in mind? When you get a chance, can you let us know when it's up on your site, or when you have further particulars? I'll also send you an email, but this 14 harp holder maybe of interest to others, as well.

It's a totally ridiculous idea (and not really serious), but as a guy with great chops both as a player and a customizer- you could always retune and customize a set of Hohner Pucks. You could fit a 12 pack of Pucks in one pocket. :)
