Gibson!!!
Bottom deluxe and midrange crunch to die for. Les Paul models are the best but break the bank cuz of Vintage Guitar magazine ruined it for harp players getting a fair price on tube amps. George Gruin is a BAD man.
The name says it all.seriously constructed for pro players. just avoid the gibson falcon or similar. some gibos are too clean. Silvertone, while being a good harp amp, was a budget amp from Sears-Roebuck. their 2/12 is a poor mans fender twin. besides, Gibos are not as plentiful as Silvertones. ---------- MP affordable reed replacement and repairs.

I have a GA-20, keep trying to sell it, but it sounds better than all of my other amps, so it is still here.

Gibson!
These amps start to break up with a natural distortion at a low volume setting. It is what guitar players call "low headroom." It is what harp players call "awesome."

GA6 if you have the choice. The Silvertone should be quite a bit cheaper, and is a nice fun harp amp, but MP has it right, it was built as a budget amp with pressboard / paper cabinets. The Gibson is super responsive to harp. She screams when you touch her - in the good way.
@ rbeetsme - How can I help you with your problem? Having to keep that thing around must be an awful burden. ----------
