I am very humbled and grateful to the Mississippi Arts Commission for awarding me a Performing Arts Fellowship grant in the amount of $4,500. It makes me very proud and happy to know that I live in a state that recognizes the importance of supporting the professional growth of artists. It's also pretty cool that they value the artistic value of the "Mississippi saxophone." :) Please check out the MAC on Facebook, Twitter and at http://www.arts.state.ms.us.
