So I was listening to some of Jason's audio-ambrosia on my computer at work. My shuffler got to "Drifting Blues", when a member comes up to my office window. I thought I had my speakers down pretty low, but apparently not low enough because she heard it. It was about halfway through the second verse, and the woman looks me in the eye with a smile and says "Oh, I love him so much."
I said "Oh, really? You listen to this guy a lot?"
She nods and says "Yeah....I loved seeing him on Law & Order SVU last year."
I was a bit confused and asked "He was on SVU?"
She says "Yeah. But I've always loved Harry Connick, Jr. Such a hunk."
I about fell out of my chair. I guess that particular number had a certain HCJ feel and vocal similarity to it....but I set her straight. Told her it was actually a guy named Jason Ricci and she should check some of his stuff out.
Hey Moon Cat.....has this ever come up before? LOL

The St Patrick's Day before last, I spent the afternoon with The Cat at a Starbuck's inheriting the fine art of the MoonCat harp tune method.
I can't tell you how many people came up and called him Herbie (or, Mr Hancock). I think it was how the sunlight coming through the windows had him backlit. Uncanny.
