Just a bit of mic porn for ya..

On way to me from Greg at BlowsMeAway Productions. Beautiful craftsmanship. That's a 1952 99H86 black label CR in there too ;)

Will be getting road tested at several of this summer's UK festivals :)

Me too, FM - looking forward to introducing it to the Bassman when I'm done looking at it :)

Had chance to road test this at a blues festival in Scotland over the weekend - this mic smokes!

I was interested to see how much wood affected the sound, and I can hear a discernible difference. It's warmer and richer compared to my existing black label mic. Played through my Bassman I could hear every nuance, which obviously makes for better playing. Three gigs in very different rooms and it sounded killer in all of them. Several people remarked on tone :)

Great job, Greg.
