I've had missing posts in a couple of threads recently. Plus I'm also having to force reload the MBH site over and over again. Even after clearing the cache, clearing history and even resetting Safari. It's starting to get very tiresome now. I think maybe one of the mods needs to speak to the forum hosts. As the problem is getting worse. It's definitely not at my end. I've run virus and malware scans, run all my permissions scans, rebooted and I'm still getting the same issues. It's only happening on MBH, no other sites at all.

Sorry Kingley, the disappearing posts are the spam filter. It tends to pick up very short posts or posts with links in them. It especially likes short posts with links in them, prices or words like 'Wow, amazing,' or anything else that sounds like excited marketing speech. I hate the spam filter. There were 4 messages marked as spam when I got to the folder today, none of them actually spam. I check the bin once a day and restore the messages. I have to restore them, because the software is supposed to 'learn' so if I don't it may start picking up even more posts as spam. It doesn't actually seem to learn though. I've asked if they could switch it to flagging them as spam without actually hiding them, and then I could just decide in the spam folder if they are actually spam or not. They can't. There have been a couple hundred false positives and it's only ever once caught a real piece of spam, and restoring the posts leaves repeated messages all over the place. It also means timely messages, like someone getting some airtime on a radio station, sometimes don't appear until after they are over. All I can do about that problem is suggest you repost it. I know, it sucks. Our hosts are nice guys, but I think they focus more on general website for businesses rather than forum hosting software.

As for needing to reload the site, what exactly do you mean? Is the forum page not restoring? I got a similar complaint about a week ago, but didn't have enough details for a report. (Anyone else having problems with the site loading? The more people who report it the easier it is to sniff out the cause, so anyone else having issues, please add any specifics to this thread).

Thanks for the information Nate. Yes the posts were quite short and one did have "Wow" in it. The reloading issue is a strange one. I think it's along the same lines that Jodanchudan was/is having. When I click on the MBH forum the site begins to load, then quickly my cursor turns into the spinning wheel of death. I then have to click on the (X) button in my browesr url bar. This then produces a drop down button tab and allows me to force the page to reload. Usually that does the trick, but over the last few days it's become more persistent and I'm having to quit the browser and relaunch. As I say though it only happens with the MBH forum page. It doesn't do it anywhere else on the whole site nor on any other websites. It also happens regardless of which browser I use. It's very bizarre.

Hmm... okay. I'll bump this back to the top. They won't see a report until Monday anyway (and maybe not until Tuesday because of the holiday.) I'll see if anyone else is having the problem. Is it alright if I give them your email to see if they can help you troubleshoot it?
