I've been asked to play along to " I remember you", the Frank Ifield classic. Got as far as figuring it's in A but just can't pin down the notes. Any half-good muso, with a minute to spare, out there who would do me the kindness of identifying them pesky notes? Thanks guys.
I think this might have been played on a Chromatic - Harry Pitch? The key changes back and forth in the song
Using a D harp throughout:-
For the three repeated segments at the end of the phrases -4-4-4-4-3 Then sounds like a key change around 40 secs...I remember to try -3+5(-6*=semi-tone bend)-7 followed by softer slow notes-3-4*-4
Next the 1st segment is repeated -4-4-4-4-3
Then 'I remember to' again and repeat -3+5(-6*=semi-tone bend)-7, -3-4*-4
Grey Owl, you're a gent! That really helped me get a handle on it.Only had an hour's run-through to get my head round a load of material to play for two hours, and it went well enough to get us re-booked.Thanks again, Andy.
Kingley - Yippee, a Gold star :) This song is an example of a great player just using minimal, simple harmonica fill to maximum effect and that's all the public wants oftentimes. ---------- My MBH Profile Grey Owl YouTube Grey Owl Abstract Photos Website
