something is wrong here, very very wrong
i cannot for the life of me put my finger on it.
some one posted a video on you tube of our weekly jam.
the video is very poor quality as is the audio
the playing also is not first rate.
last i checked it had twelve thousand hits!
there is absolutely no reason anyone would watch this.

the person who filmed this,is not the person
who posted this, i do not know either person.
i will post a link, as opposed to posting the video
if you can snoop around, maybe give me a clue as is what the #$^@ is going on here?

as painful as it is to watch, please watch the entire proceeding. the person hosting this video has an amazing story to tell. the two people who commented on the video
seam to have spam on there channel, perhaps they are marketing guru's? maybe it's something i would want to get in on lol. here is the kicker, rumor has it,
they want to come back this week to get a better video.
not sure if i should embrace this behavior or ask them to not film while i am playing. any and all comments are welcome.

23,000+ hits now.

I think the low quality video actually enhances the experience. No one wants to see the average bluesman all that well. ;)

23,000 hits in 2 weeks- I'd sure go back and let them tape me again.

Sometimes all it takes is a video getting on the right playlist to get seen by the right audience. I like the sound (fidelity issues aside).

Well, that was a pretty weak jam set. But I like the guy up there playing tambourine.

I know sudden success can come as a shock. This morning I found 7 'likes' on a set of lyrics I posted on Facebook just last night. I went out and got some caviar and crackers.

Looks like "theteenproject88" have uploaded 17 or so BOSCOS videos. Not sure why they would do this because they are not (or don't seem to be) monetising their channel. In total they appear to have a total of more than 2000 videos uploaded. Hmmm. Mystery.

i am hoping to get ya all to watch on youtube
to see if we can somehow find some sort of fraudulent activity. i think it has something to do with spammers.

the first harp player was not exactly booted.
he had already played a full set on harp and another on
piano. we had 60 people signed up on the list.
i was the first one there, i brought the amp
had it dialed in, then i decided i didnt want to play
i would be happy just to hang out with my friends
let every one else play, and just stay out of the way
i was sitting with the girls in back, and they were making
good nature'd fun of all the performers
i said to them is that what you do all day
sit back here and make fun of us?.. yep!
so how do you poke fun of me i asked?
they immediately started bouncing around like i do onstage.. it was quite funny, i said maybe i will go up
maybe you should!.. maybe i'll go right now
maybe you should, you can see at the end it looks like i am waving, i was not ..i was making a hand gesture
trying to resemble 2 women gossiping
like they say in spanish widi widi

i am not the jam host
we have several hosts, they do an amazing job
60 plus people on the list in 4 hours
every one plays most of us several times
as for the other harmonica player
i cant speak for him, but he is one of my favorite friends i have ever made and i seriously doubt
he was offended, we have a blast every time
there is an tremendous amount of camaraderie here
unlike most jams i have been to.
and yes it is nice of me to let everyone play thru my amp, it is a vintage tweed bassman with a kinder box
if it breaks i have to pay for the repairs.
ask me about the time all four vintage jensen's were blown up simultaneously.

dont worry too much about james i'll buy him a beer
and we will laugh about this post. go ahead lambaste
for my poor jam etiquette, i'll get over it.

Hmmmmm.... At my jam only the host can ask people to get on or off stage, particularly if there are 60 people on the list. It is harder than Chinese algebra trying to keep all the combinations and permutations in order so the jam flows smoothly.

Perhaps it's the red, Satanic filter on the camera work?
Makes it look kinda like a bunch of blues musicians burning in Hell.

@1847 - I work with web design and so on for a living, and just happened to know of some examples of that technique, but am not a proponent. Although I'm sure you would be worthy of the attention the old fashioned way, I think YouTube is banning videos AND accounts when they find videos which have been artificially pumped. A harp player like me, on the other hand, would only hit thousands of views through nefarious means. ;-)

check out the three comments on the video
one of them is ligit
the other 2 if you click on them
it shows in there favorite videos
things like magnets to relieve health issues
how to set up a casino web site etc.
all the comments to the videos
have dozen's and dozens of comments all posted at the exact same time one of them is for a seminar
on how to increase your hits on google
seo search engine optimization. i suspect
who ever is behind this has something to do with the seminar which was held on tuesday

Ultimate Harp Jam now has over 137,000 views! Unfortunately - or perhaps fortunately, I'm not playing on it - I just shot it on my iPhone and posted it.
