Loved every second of it Wheel. Ultra cool and great Harp with really interesting phrasing.

You sound like you were doing a kind of mouthed flange effect in parts above and beyond the processing effects?

tookatooka, thank you!
Grey Owl, I'm so glad that you liked it! It was a hard to play this tune. I was inspired by David Sanborn version but his skills and speed on sax are unattainable so I tried to play less but melodical. I have strange embouchure :) (something between ub-block and tongue blocking) may be it made it sound this way

O yes I remember you were one of only 3 guys out of 80+ who u block on that embouchure survey thread I started a while ago.

You get a very nice sound and I would be interested to know your recording setup and harps.

Wheel, that's amazing stuff. Very moody, technically very proficient, but never "note-y." Every note makes sense, including that long repeated lick at 3:20-3:30.

Please talk a little bit more about the harp and position you're playing and the chords you've playing over.

You're definitely a modernist! I'm glad we've got players like you around here to give us a taste of the future.

Wheel... Very elegant playing... and that flanged sound is really subtle, and adds to the groove. Nice unexpected growls in there once in a while too. Inspiring stuff!

Frank, Georgia Blues thank you a lot! I love this friendly and open minded community. You help me to grow up as a musician. thanks a lot again and again :)

Grey Owl! Thank you again! :) I always use electrovoice re10 mic for acoustic and amplifed work. For amplifed sound I always choose my harp break and t-rex reptile delay. My software is Reaper and soundcard is M-audio mkII.

kudzurunner, thank you for attention and kind words :)My overblowing skills was bad but I wanted to play music I like on harmonica that's why I started practicing diminished harmonica tuning. This tune was played on Ab diminished harmonica. The chord progression is (according to Aebersold): E-7 A7/D E-7 E-7 C A-7 E-7 E-7 C A-7 F#-7/B B7+9 E-7 A-7/D E-7 E-7
I studied in music school when I was a teen so I can read music sheet quite fast but I don't know how to read chord progression :(
So I don't know is it correct answer for your question or not, sorry :(. Impro in middle part was played by ear.
