Cool video! Thanks for the link to the website.

Jason, what is the venue, band, and time for the Wednesday night Preview? I will arrive by noon at latest. Just wondering... I don't know Indy that well.

The Venue is : The Main Event, think around 8:00 at the earliest...Also Deak Harp will be there on Thurs. Night after the collective's festivities and will be wondering 'round the hotel all week. Any one getting in super early (Tues) might want to attend an Indiana Harmonica club Meeting with a Deak Harp teaching seminar ( 20.00$ ) at my house in Bloomington followed by a Bloomington appearance..

Hey fellow harmonica freaks,

We are coming up on our inaugural event in Indianapolis next week, April 24-27.
The Harmonica Collective is the brainchild of my friend and musical cohort Jason Ricci. It was brought to fruition through the untiring and invaluable work of SPAH President, Winslow T. Yerxa and Paul Davies.
Joining us will be RJ Mischo, Richard Sleigh, James Conway along with Jason and myself. Buzz Krantz will be there and also a few excellent guitar droids.
This event will prove to be quite special and we have already begun the planning for the next one.
There are a few slots left for players to get in on the ground floor of a happening that will help you to progress to the next level. Jason has put together quite a team just judging from our planning sessions.

Check out Jason's latest Youtube vid on this:

- hope to see you in Indy for the Harmonica Time Trials (I mean Collective)

Did Players Pub used to be the Pit Stop?

Big J, have you jammed with Steve Wood or Dave Baas there in town?

Last I knew, Steve was working for Eric at Vance Music on the north side of the square. I know Dave closed his guitar shop. I haven't been around town for a few years so I've lost track. Here's what you need to do. Look up Stable Studio's. It's west of Spencer out by Patricksburg. My old friend Chris Kinnick has built this venue on his farm. Chris is a great guy, a killer horn player and a lot of fun to play with. Let me see if i can get you a number.

Here you go Bro; tell him Stacey White sent you.

EDIT! Just heard back from Stew the bass player. Tonight and then next friday are the last two until fall. Get the hell over there tonight man. You will not find a better group of people!

The closest I'm getting to the event is that a member of my harmonica gang who posts here as 'catochan' is going. Too bad, next time the event is held I'll be there, I know that all who do attend will have a fun time and learn lots, I just wish I could be there.

Crying little tiny sad sad tears.....Sherwin..fricken Fracken ribble rabble!

Congratulations for putting such an amazing thing together.

@Sherwin -

This is the first of many, so don't be sad. Just wait a couple of seasons and watch for announcements . . .
