Hi, I'm NotSpam, a digital expression of nothingness that will be deleted momentarily... but will all signs of my passage be deleted as well? 2bv~2b

Okay, I'm leaning towards the idea that JD deleted everything himself and went full on TNFrank on us.

Well, that was complicated. AAA got marked as spam, but not deleted!

That said, NotSpam was not marked as spam.

(And nothing else ended up in the spam folder, so JD's old posts didn't end up there.)

I'm going to leave this thread up to see if maybe there is a delayed delete.

Tn frank was a guy who posted prolifically and Nasty old dog, who I think was by then NOD or N.O.D perhaps, really took issue with him. They were both banned.. TNFrank systematically deleted all his posts.
You can still find plenty of TNFrank online. These days I think he is into pistols or ammo or such. Or maybe that's yesterday.

I remember Nasty Old Dog. His name was apt.

There was a thread not too long ago where I deleted a bunch of my posts. It was not because of anger, it was because I had obliquely criticized the playing of another player and upon reflection I felt it was mean spirited. It was a thread about IBC. I emailed the guy and apologized, although he is not a member and never saw the posts.

I understand self-deleted posts. I've done that once or twice--usually for the reason Rick mentions.
