Hello,
I have The 64 chromonica, but I would like to change new reed plates, and I email Honher and call, but nothing. I wonder if the new super 64 reeds will fit to the old harmonica. Any help I will thank you so much.
Angelo.

I'd also advise getting a set of replacement reed plate screws as well, if necessary. However, if you own an old wooden comb, straight tuned version, those plates won't work. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

I suggest getting it repaired keeping the old plates or buying a new instrument:

The cost of new plates is close to the cost of a whole new instrument.
No affiliation with Amazon, etc. ----------

@MP I can't argue with the idea of having more than one chromatic! I have 5 C chromatics: Hering 6164, 5148, Hohner 270, Chrometta 12, and an Educator. That is not to mention my keyed chromatic collection...
Can you suggest any chromatic repair techs to PeruJazzHarp that can economically help out with his 64 Chromonica repairs?
Replacement plates seem a bit pricey for repair compared to the cost of a new instrument. ----------
