I read in another thread here about increasing the input resistor to make an amp more responsive to a crystal mike.
Before I took my amp apart I wanted to see what I might find so I did a search and found this site;
http://www.schematicsunlimited.com/
They had a schematic for my Epiphone Tube 10. It shows the 1Meg resistor across the mike input that I need to change to a higher value to get better response to the crystal mike. I have done a few successful minor electronics repairs before. I may just try this mod.
Just for the heck of it I also downloaded the schematic for a Fender Blues DeVille, it is vastly more complex than my simple Epiphone.
I have done most of my music acoustically so this amplifier stuff is new to me.

Anyone know who the party or parties operating Schematics Unlimited might be? I have a couple contributions I can make, and they say in their donations page that they'll have an online uploader soon, but there's no contact info for the site owner. ----------
