I love amps as some may know and I am always interested to know what kinda old beat up stuff you mighty fine harp players are usin out there. I'll be up first.

Here is my 1953 Danelectro Pioneer 15. I picked it up in a music store that has been around since 1963. The owner had gotten it at a pawn shop in the 50's and said it was his first decent amp. It sat in the attic for the whole time and been through hell. Years ago they brought it down and displayed it and for 2 years I always asked to buy it. The sucky part is the shop went out of buisness here in Knoxville and I happen to be there at the right time as they were havin a good by sale and I got it from them. $70 later in repair and change the real bad speaker to a 50's Quam this dano is literally my favorite harp amp. It sound like it looks Gknarly!!!!!! This pioneer line was quite rare. I own the big poppa version of the amp with 4 6v6's and a 15in speaker. This one sports two 6v6's.

That dogs teeth reminds me of how the Simpsons portrays English people's teeth. And they are right on the money. Everyone here has teeth like that dog! It's a dentist paradise!

All my amps are pretty pristine. The Bassman has some frayed corners and lots of old stains but I re-laquered it and it looks good. I keep all the amps covered and I'm careful with them.

Here is my '64 Marvel amp with a very cool old store sticker still on it. Note the funky volume knob. Right now this is my favorite amp. I can't get enough of its sound.

The handle on the '62 Premier is cool.

Bigtone, the Marvel was made in NYC by Multivox, same as Premier. They are close relatives.
