It's really the same unit as the Van Amps Solemate. Vintage47 just worked out a deal with Van Amps to sell ones with their own cosmetics and badging on it. I haven't tried one yet, but everything I've read about them are golden laurels.

I've got a Solemate and it's a nice unit. I prefer it to any digital reverb that I have used. But I prefer spring reverb.

Same here, like the soulmate. Doesn't fit any pedal board though. They do have an accessory that will mount 2 -3 pedals to the top of the unit.

@ rbeetsme - 'They do have an accessory that will mount 2 -3 pedals to the top of the unit' - Hmmm... i have not saw that before. You have a link for it.

Thanks for the input! I was debating on trying one out to see how it would sound with my rig.

The Solemate is on my short list of reverb pedals I'm considering. Along with the Danelectro Spring King and Boss Fender '63 COSM since it's so delightfully compact.

Even though it's a rackmount and not a pedal, I think a Peavey Valverb would be the ultimate unit for me. Tube driven spring reverb AND tremolo!
