Anybody using one. Worth $40 in decent shape?

I've used one before, and hell yes it's worth $40 if it's working. If you're asking because you have an opportunity, jump on it while you can dude.

Yeah I have one. These mics are very very under rated. Killer mics for the money and they have easily in my opinion the biggest sound for any of the thin shell mics around as long as you get the Hi-Z model. I have one that just will not feedback it's wild I can get it louder than the Black Cr's etc.. Buy it!!

I find mine very thin and bright. I was going to put the element in a small bullet shell, but I'm not going to bother. Of course they vary from element to element, but I think its value for 40 bucks is as a display piece; they demonstrate an intermediate form in the evolution of mics from bullets to the sticks.

Ron Sunshine could make a jam tin with a piece of string to his amp sound great.

Picked it up today and it sounds beautiful. No extraneous hum and sounds sweet and dirty with amp cranked
