Ever since joining MBH it has irked me that there is a spelling mistake in the forum creed.
'ethinic'is not a word.
It's only now that i have reached 400(odd?!) posts that i feel that i have the kudos to bring this to the Forums attention.
(hey its a slow news day)

Speaking, er, typing as a fellow pedant, I think you mean "Forum's" and "it's." :)

I am sorry to inform you that your having noticed an error and having restrained yourself from mentioning it for 400 posts does not qualify you for the appellation of "pedant."
You did not immediately respond with a scolding lecture after having perceived the grievous flaw. In fact...

Unless one of the moderators has fixed what you claim is a misspelling, you need to check your eyesight. There's only one use of the word "ethnic," and it's spelled properly. It occurs in the paragraph beginning "Please also note."

I took care of it this afternoon. Thanks to the internet though, it now looks like it's always been correct. :)
