Is tgere something inherently wrong with the 7 blow on all G harps? I have several makes/models in G, and all but 2 have nasty sounding 7 blows. The 2 good ones are a marine band and a Star performer. Among the lousy are a Meisterklass, a LO, several other Star Performers and a few SP20s. Normally not an issue for me as I don't really use my G harp a whole lot. But I have a program I'm part of in March, and I need a reliable G tbat has all 10 holes in good working order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nasty how? If they're out of tune, you may be accidently bending them a little. 7 blow is where the blow bends start.

Yes, it sounds out of tune no matter how softly I play, or the embochure I use. I'll try to post a sound bite of it tonight after work.

That's the tonic (in first position) and should not sound out of tune.
Have you tried tuning it?

I wish I could. My old phone used to upload right to my YT channel. When I got my razr, it won,t. Goes to a dummy channel. I titled it G Harp Sound Check. I imported it to my laptop. But couldn't figure out how to upload it from there. Like I said, bit of a tech dummy here.
