Hey guys I have just registered so thought I would say hello.
First I'd like to thank Adam and the others who take the time to give free lessons on YouTube. Obviously they dont have to and it is extremely useful.
I have been playing since the early 90s. My playing basically consists of things I have poached mainly from listening to the Blues hour on my local NPR station. Looking at the list on the site, I am definitely somewhere in between intermediate and advanced intermediate as some of both apply to me.
I am recently divorced and so I am playing much more these days. The ex used to complain about my playing so being able to practice again is liberating haha.
So now I am working on scales and basic 12 bar progressions, and the blue third. I had been doing some tongue blocking in the past so I kind of have that down. Luckily since I have been playing a while it comes fairly easily. If you guys have any suggestions on other things to work on I am open to advice. I am going back to learn the basics.
I did play in a band for a number of years, but mainly played drums, with ocassional harp thrown in. I have always loved the harmonica though and have given up drumming. The only guy I ever played with who I would call a real " bluesman" was George Spratt down in Waco, Tx. It was a great experience, RIP George.
Anyway I guess thats it for now.
Good to be here and have a good one all.

Welcome from the Midwest (USA, in case there's another one out there I'm not familiar with).
