This must be a pretty common chord progression but not being much of a theory guy, I couldn't name it. What I'm playing is this but I don't know what the chord after the D7 is (or what it should be - also, I'm not sure that D7 is the right chord): C -C7 - F - F7 - C - D7 - ? - G7 - C. Is it a II-V-I or something like that? Edit to embed clip:

Yes, captainbliss has a good answer. what is confusing is that in jodanchudan's question, the question mark should be between the C and the D7. ---------- The Iceman
@jodanchudan: This site and these "chord maps" have really been helping me figure out chord progressions... Have a look/read and see if it helps you! Music Theory For Songwriters -- Chord Maps ----------
The question mark is in the right spot - that's the chord I don't know! I know it's a different progression with the A7, but what's the chord in the progression in the clip? And is going C - D7 - ? - G7 - C invalid?
Just found a chord-finder site that lets you click on the fretboard to find the chord - apparently it's a G 6/9 or A7 sus2, so it's: c - C7 - F - F7 - C - D7 - A7sus2 - G7 - C.
I am a bit confused. Listening to your sound recording played on (I think) ukelele or solo mandolin, the chord progression - to my ear - is still what I posted above.
My ears are pretty good, but maybe I'm missing something? ---------- The Iceman
