Thank you, Brendan. Beautiful, and deeply soulful. May your wishes for peace on earth make it so. Happy holidays to you and yours.

That was just wonderful! How did you get the drone? Is that played on a Sub 30?

Thank you--my wife and I both enjoyed this on our Xmas morning. . .

I love that. Chinese feel. Way cool and unusual. Tricked-out, X-reed sub-30 with Powerbender tuning...? Whatever it is, the piece is beautiful and perfect for the day. Thanks, Brendon.

Thanks for the comments :-) It's always good when the wives and girlfriends approve!

To answer the queries, it’s played on a prototype X-Reed harp that I developed to play Chinese music, with the authentic pitch bending characteristic of traditional Chinese instruments such as the Erhu. But then I found it was nice for other tunes too.

I’ve recorded an album of Chinese melodies using this harp and other X-Reed types that I’ll be releasing soon.

I didn't click on this right away. I was afraid it would ruin any belief that I can play Amazing Grace with any adequacy. And I underestimated it. Even more beautiful than I expected. :)

Exceptional! Although I liked the posting from HCH at least as much. I just posted a version in 2 tracks for critique.
