Hello!
I'm new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a relativity new player. I've playing off and on for a while now, but have only recently started to get serious about it. I have also only recently started to learn to tongue block, which has been humbling, but also a lot of fun since I have discovered that the tongue blocked sound is what I have really been after all along and is the style that most of my favorite players use.
On the off chance that any of you are from the Madison, Wisconsin area (I am about 45min North) let me know. I think my playing could be greatly improved by playing with other people and by gleaning from those that actually know what the heck they are doing! I could use all the help I can get. :)
See you all around! T.Bird

Hi TBird. (I went to Ross Sheppard high school in Edmonton; our mascot was a TBird). I live in Oz now. TBing is good. Play with as many people as possible. Have fun. You've come to the right place. Cheers.

Welcome aboard, T-bird. I'm originally from Madison, but no more. So, have you had a chance to catch one of the better midwest harpers down there in Madison: Westside Andy? If not, hunt him down. He's a great player-- very nice and approachable.
