This was just a few months before he passed away. I miss seeing that crazy old man and I learned so much from watching him whenever he gigged up this way in Boston.

I can't believe neither of them is using a mic from BlowsMeAway! Can't really be blues, then.

Chicagofest. What a good time!

I first saw that video on TV. There were videos on Big Twist and the Mellow Fellows, Buddy Guy & Junior Wells, Eddy Clearwater, the Downchild Blues Band, Mighty Joe Young, Bobby "Blue" Bland and Muddy Waters.

The Muddy Waters show was issued on DVD. Yesterday was the first time that I had seen the Charlie Musselwhite or Bobby Bland video since 1982.

it gets good at 15:00 cuz you get to hear Walter Horton. but 'Kiddio' just prior is fun even though Charlies vocals are weak.

I saw Big Walter with a pick up band in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. I think it was in the late sixties but it's all a blur now. They introduced him as Shakey Horton. Probably the best vibrato I've ever heard.
