Some FREE stuff , I put together , as you can tell from the title , the backing track and the harmonica tab for the Willie Dixon song "Help Me" , the backing track and the tab too is very close to the Sonny boy's version.
I put on youtube a video of me playing the song , if you care for it ,you can download the file that contains the backing track , another version of the backing track with my vocals on it ( in case you don't wanna sing) and the harp tab , the link is in the video info ( at the right side of the video).

Bloody excellent, superb! Many thanks for that. I'd love it if more people did stuff like that with tabs and all. Subscribed!

I am glad you guys liked it, in my short harmonica adventure , 2.5 years , I got some good workout out of all the free lessons on youtube , I think it's time to give something back , I don't have much to offer but I will do my best to keep the wheel spinning . Stay tuned , I think I came up with a tool to make the learning process easier .
Now you not gonna have any excuses for not woodsheding , you got the tab , the backing track , I expect some video reply to that song , pretty soon .

I know there are mixed feelings about digging up old posts but.....

I made reference to this post today and I thought I would place my freshly made video here as a thank-you to Sorin for his great backing track.

My video is one take so you get worts and all...I don't claim to be a singer either and maybe a only an intermediate player.

Sorin,

I think it's hilarious that someone thinks you are faking in the video (Comments)! "Watch his cheeks"

Ha! Lmao.

I love this song. Top favorites. I'm more particular to Junior's version because of the singing. Great post man.

@Sorin
there are some in this forum with natural ability-to only be playing 2.5 years its obvious you have it-thanks so much for your efforts

@ groyster1 ...I don't think it's natural ability . I think it's lot of practice time, patience and knowing how to learn.A lot of people don't know how to learn , and I find , harmonica to not be an easy instrument to learn , especially if you do not have any previous musical knowledge. It can get very confusing very fast , with all the postions, overblows .

The main problem is not knowing how to learn, just look at the huge progresses that MAlo made , and is not just because he has musical experience , but because he knows how to practice .You have to be able to get down the fundamentals , be patient , baby steps , one step at a time ,you have to learn to walk before you run .

From lack of patience people get frustrated very easy , and than they start spending hours every day looking for the right harp ,reading about amps , shopping for mics , they jump from one video lesson to the next ,hours on forums , and this is not gonna get it done.
Having a little bit of experience with trying to learn guitar ,it helped, in the sense that seeing the people on forums ,spending countless hours on finding the right rig , right strings, neck shape , doesn't get you anywhere .You will notice that all the great players ,harmonica or guitar , they got great despite of all the obstacles , lack of teachers, material to study , actually they got great because of that , they had to figure out things by themselves , invest countless hours practicing .
I didn't own more than 1 harmonica my first 2 years , on purpose , I played it until I blew it out , than went to store and got another one .I remember spending more that 1 month on Gussow's "C.C.rider" lesson trying to get the Tb intervals.

Anyway.....enough talking ....let the egg throwing begin...
