David Burgin has uploaded a nice cross-section of his studio work to SoundCloud. He also says he's sitting in "from time to time" and promises to re-release his long-out-of-print solo album "soon".

Here's a track from his album with Roy Rogers:

@Time: Thanks a bunch for this!
Burgin is one of my favorite players and I´m going to listen to those clips with great interest.

Much appreciated link.

Never heard about him...nice playing.
It makes me think of those duos Sonny Terry/Brownie Macghee and Cephas&Wiggins, in that way of playing on the guitar notes/chords.

Love it! Memorable stuff. Juicy, rich tone. Another find for the honorable mention list. Thanks.

Burgin was one of Carlos del Junco's main influences.

I'll chreck it out. I communicated with him a little a few months back. I think I was their biggest fan when they where starting out in SF in the 70's. I still play country/gospel/blues licks of his. He's been mentioned here before. A great player.
These are from a previous thread - but what the hey. Roy and David at my place 'back in the day' :
