a chance to crit and comment on my latest track. But seriously I'm five and a half years in now with my harp playing and would treasure any crits / advice on my playing. God, only the other day I was reading about a kid of seven who was playing violin and writing music like Mozart and I'm still on my baby steps with harp. Doesn't make sense.
However this is a bastardized/londonized rockabilly track for your entertainment. I know it's not 100% yet but I really feel I'm getting somewhere now.
Let loose guys, I can take it, I'm a big boy now.
Special 20 A harp in Key of E through a Roland MicroCube. Multitrack.
Thanks for your time.

Sounds good on first listen (and second). I'm to tired right now to give you more a more thoughtful critique though. :)

You're definitely on the right track but I feel your playing is somewhat on the safe side. Maybe simply let go and see what happens. Mistakes are good. Also, I think your breathing could come from lower down to improve your tone and get those notes bent a little more. Anything you are playing right now is not wrong, but just needs that little more self expression.

I would suggest paring everything down a notch. Focus on making every note sound with pitch quality tone and articulation. Less is more. ---------- Sun, sun, sun Burn, burn, burn Soon, soon, soon Moon, moon, moon

Thanks guys, some good things to work on there. I did find this rather a fast track to work with and I defo need to sort my fast playing out. Also I threw in some tongue blocking on this one. Tongue blocking is new to me, I tried to get by without it but I now see the error of my ways and I'm trying to get it under control. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated.

I liked it.
Nice skipping-stone kind of dance over the groove.
Next recording, increase your volume over the backing track. Feature your harp, that's the interesting music.
