I was one of a few men interviewed earlier this summer on the topic of our vocations. They took a little harmonica playing that I did and used it for the intro. Of all the guys, I thought it was neat that they took the redneck to start us off. Pig-Sooeee! Razorbacks!
**NOTE** - The harmonica is only in the fist 10-15 seconds.

Cool. I've never managed to get my harp onto TV. The one time the news crews showed up at open mic (there were new cabaret taxes being considered by the city) my band didn't show up and I didn't have any solo stuff ready at the time. Made me grumpy.
That's awesome Gad!! I'm sure you will find your harmonica as a constant companion in your life.
I've been a Catholic all my life and my wife and I are Extraordinay Ministers of the Eucharist... I love and enjoy the inspirational songs that we sing along with the choir... love the songs that I recognize as familiar melodies of various songs.
Like "Canticle of the Turning" (same melody as "The Star of the County Down", or "Holy is Your Name" ("Wild Mountain Thyme" or "The Canticle of Mary Magnifcat").
Be sure to get a natural minor harp as you can do some great "Alleluia" music with them... seems like a lot of our songs are in minor keys too, and a NM harp is a lot of fun!
My best wishes to you and your fellow "priests of tomorrow"... we need you !
nacoran: Anytime I make a video of myself, I cringe a little. These guys made it sound decent!
AirMojo: Thanks for sharing and thanks for all you do for the Lord. I really like Todd Parrott's stuff and am anxiously awaiting his CD (hello Todd if you are reading this...) My harps are pretty good friends. :) I always carry at least one, often multiple. I am wanting to get a NM. Right now, I'm digging 3rd position. Peace!
Rubes: Thanks for the comment. Keep searching, inquiring, probing, testing, measuring, discovering, rediscovering and thinking. Always be amazed at new discoveries. The horizon of human knowledge will continue to expand until mankind ceases to exist and the human mind has an infinite thirst, constantly seeking to experience what is beyond that threshold of knowledge. Peace!
