What does everyone think about blues harmonica trio, quartet quintet. You know harps only kinda thing with say any percussive stuff added from the harp players.

Could it work ? Would it work for electric blues harp?

Has it been done before in blues? If so was it a success?

Many years ago I had a jazz saxophone quartet thing going for a while.I never really enjoyed it, it was just more of a challenge and an experiment for me.

Could electric blues harp quartet work,as a bonefide blues vehicle digging deep etc?

Blocker: good post

First time I ever heard that kind of thing done like that. Quite amazing really.

The style for overall band sound is not one I would favour for my self however I really enjoyed listening to it.

Never seen one of those mic stands and mic before attached to the chest, that was interesting.

Yea, 3 guys doing their thing on harp, good stuff

I've been experimenting with recording multiple tracks. I've got a couple with vocal beatboxy tracks and harmonica and a couple more with just two harmonicas mixed differently. I've still got to get a better take of them but I'm liking the sounds I can get. The I peak the tolerances on the lower part so I get a really distorted part, and then I play something much cleaner over the top. Maybe I'll post a rough cut when I have a little more time. I'm off. Have a great day everyone.
