I've been looking at mic's lately. My current mic doesn't do much for me anymore. It was neat at first, but I've had it about two years and I'm looking to upgrade. I've been drooling over Greg's mics like the ultimized series.... I'm getting off track....
I saw the Shaker Vet while perusing the net. I've never heard of it. Does anyone know anything about it? Has anyone played through it? Just curious. Thanks much

I've been curious about it too since I caught sight of it a month or so ago. I havent talked to anyone yet who's tried it.

i had a dynamic shaker that worked really well with one amp i have
i also have a mad cat and a retro rocket
i would be willing to trade one
for a dynamic
havent seen or heard the new one
it had pretty narrow specs
the namm show is creeping up on us
i usually stop by and talk to joe
he is quite the salesman
i have 3 or 4 of his mics lol

I'd just order a Greg Heumann special with a nice Shure vintage element. Be done with it, proven winner, never want another. While you are at it, pick up a modded Zoo.

I have a vet pluged in to my blues jr I love it I got my rig now I got mine from Rockinronsmusic4 less I got with Ron and at first I had to fix my cable to a positive 3 but now all you guys have to do is buy a cable or fix your cable to a positive 3 man I hate to let this cat out of the bag but it one bad ass mic as long as your tone is good it will help you sound great.

Yeah, I've been looking at those ultimized 57s for a while.
