Alex goes Adam Gussow? :D Interesting! Well, I don't know if you were actually inspired by him or just wanted to do a one-man band song, but I do hear the simularities. But what I find interesting, are the things you add to the genre.

Yes, I heard this song in summer for the first time. It was at the Harpsummer festival and Slava Vinogradov, harmonica player from Russia played it. I had an idea to make it simply with a kick and tambourine, which came out as Adam Gussow style :)

Alex, good to see you posting here again. Just wanted to say I get a kick from your video skills and your playing/ singing, very imaginative "spelling?" and fun. It was cool to meet you in person year before last at HCH2. Keep up the good work. Mike
Nice cover. You need beer can socks to go with your Homer slippers.
I like the part where you play the harp without actually having a harp, although the ladies are going to like it even more! That tongue flutter probably is going to sell you with every lady that watches the video.
This is nothing short of inspired! You're one man groove is firm , steady, flawless and the harmonica tone is gritty yet crystal clear with some sweetly articulated runs. And the vocal is choice. Bravo. ---------- Ted Burke http://youtube.com/watch?v=-VPUDjK-ibQ&feature=relmfu ted-burke.com
