#1 Germanharpist #2 Germanharpist #3 Germanharpist Now i know that i'm supposed to vote for 3 different vids and i did check them all out but i just didn't think anything else came close to GH's superb display of totally wasted off his tits high as a kite beam me up Scotty bloozy boozy stoned and woozy brilliance, this was the only vid that made me LOL as you text heads all like to say! PS sorry i did't get a vid up, this was due to illness and then clearing the backlog of work created by the illness plus i have been away rallying

Wow it was hard to decide. You guys were great! Thanks to all of you for entering. I have much to learn from all of you. Any criticism I have is purely constructive and not meant to offend.
As a teacher, I needed criteria to judge you on. My rubric was simple. What sounded good. Here is how I chose. I plugged the laptop into the stereo, turned it up and walked away. No faces, no names, just music.
First I listened to Oldwailer play his guitar. Sounded like he was Chillaxin' on his porch with a beer and his guitar when some friends dropped by to play along.
Some of his friends brought their amps and blew OW clear off the porch. Some of it hurt my ears with to many high notes. Others wouldn't let OW's guitar get a single note in. Some played like there were cute girls hangin' out across the street. Showing off. Throwin' every trick they had into their jam. Look at me!
Listening to OW on my sereo with my eyes closed, I heard some of his friends come up on the porch and play WITH him. They LISTENED to him. Not just for the chord changes but let his riffs come through. Even played along with those riffs, sometimes in a call and response format. Wow. These guys were easy to spot. OW played a chill front porch blues and these guys made music with OW that sounded good to me.
1. Dutch Bones. I like the space you leave and the call and response and emotion.
2. Jonsparrow. Good sound. Nice tricks without being to much.
3. Mickil. I liked the way you allowed the guitar to come through between your phrases.
