Filmed at Arch1 in West Ham, London. A great little club which you should check out if you're ever in the area. I've never posted a vid on the forum before but I enjoyed this so much I thought I should do it. Do your worst!!
Edit..forgot to mention, playing an OTB special 20 in C through a shaker dynamic mic and unmodded Fender Champion 600.

Great tone, and nothing wrong with the playing, but even at an open mic, stage presence is important. I think you should at least stand up.
Seated off the stage in a corner, its not clear if you're in the audience or in the band.
Even if you are terrified and feel like crap, make it look like you're having a ball and know exactly what you are about; this makes a big difference of peoples perception of your performance.
Sometimes its just as important to look good as well as be good.
Be proud, move, own it; don't look ashamed, you have no need to! ---------- Lucky Lester
Thanks Lester. I do normally stand up but I had to sit down that night as the stage was full and I was standing in the path of the female toliets!! But I agree with you. ---------- Oisin
Sounding good, Oisin. I agree with Lucky Lester. Don't be shy. You've got the chops. Rock out with...
Edited to add: Just saw your reply. I wouldn't stand in the way of a lady and getting to the toilet, but it looks like a great jam!

Hey Oisin, standing the path of the female toilets is the place to be. A good looking gal will give you her phone # just to get you out of the way. Keep harping! ---------- Wisdom does not always come with old age. Sometimes old age arrives alone.
The comping early on was spot-on. Tone-full and tasteful. Your limitations show on your lead- where you stick to mostly draw notes on the lower half of the harp. My guess is you can do more - but 'play it safe' in public. A natural thing to do - and sensible. I do it to. Keep on working to broaden your range on the instrument. You've got a good ear, listen well and leave space. All essential to "playing well with others" - Plus you are getting some good biting tone from that modest rig. Rock- on. ----------
