The chord progression is I, IV, V (C, F, G) for the most part.
2nd position/cross is (F) which is what it looks like he was using. If you wanted to get creative you could do some 1st pos stuff on a (Low C) on the high end and it might have unique sound that still pays tribute to the original. ---------- Greg Jones 16:23 Custom Harmonicas greg@1623customharmonicas.com 1623customharmonicas.com

Van plays harmonica on a lot of his recordings and he always plays in 2nd position. So, if this song is in the key of C, which harmonica would he use? (checking how well you've learned your cycle of fifths :) ) ---------- The Iceman

Does anyone know what the last two notes in the harmonica solo are? I've tried a diatonic C and F harp but can't seem to find them, sneaky Van! Thanks.

Hi and welcome. Try this on an F harp, the last 4 notes are:- -2** -2, -2 -2** ie a double draw bend on hole 2 released to draw 2, then draw on 2 released to double draw bend on 2. ---------- My MBH Profile
