Friend of mine (Fred with the Gretsch 6149) has a son who's an amateur film maker. They shot this short western and wanted some harp on the soundtrack. Tried to get as solemn of a western feel as I could. Part I has been completed. Part II will soon follow with a bit more harp.
I always loved westerns and still do... that's about all that was on TV back in the 50's and 60's. When I first started playing, I would always keep a cassette recorder handy to record various harmonica music prevalent in westerns... learned a few things from them too...
The guy's BB gun/rifle caught my eye (I love shooting and collecting airguns, mainly precision pellet rifles and pistols)... he should be careful cocking it and waving it around, even when play acting... he could shoot someone's eye out !
If my harp sounds a little off key during the end segment, it's probably because I left my good F harp at home and was stuck with a Piedmont. I tried switching halfway through to a B-flat, but it didn't help much due to the editing cuts.
And there should be a promo video for the film soon. Just have to get back in the studio and record my tracks for it on Monday and it should be up shortly after. ----------

His previous films were pretty Wes Craven, John Carpenter, John Gulager type of flicks. Think he's got two more films in the works now. He's learning, but he's learning quickly. ----------
