Damn, why is this book so expensive?

Really want to read it but the cheapest I can find a used copy is £35, while new copies are currently running at £65..

Anybody got a copy they wanna sell to me relatively cheaply?

Not that I'm suggesting the book isn't woth such a tag Mr G, ;-) but I'm just another cash-strapped blues guy...

ask oldwailer in a couple of months. He should have a copy available.

Yup, have been checking Amazon fairly frequently, always been around the same price range either from UK or US..

Didn't Adam say it was going to be reprinted around August?

Yeah, you have to check it out from the library. I've got my univeristy libraries copy, and since I'm a grad student, I've kept it renewed for over a year now. I've read it twice now, and it keeps getting better!

I gave my hardcover copy to Oldwailer. It's a nice read and maybe he can pass it on to somebody else until Adam gets them reprinted. $80-$150 for a book like that is a little ridiculous - sorry adam.

I just checked. There are, at this moment, five copies of the hardcover, used, for under $20. That's not bad.

Sure, I'd be happy to pass on the copy Buddha gave me for about $175. ;-) It has a couple of pages that were autographed by his dog--which advances the value.

I'm about half way through it--and--er, it just all depends on how much fiber I eat in the next couple of weeks as to how long it will take to finish it--but I do work on it at least twice a day.

Seriously, it's a really cool read--I might have to read it twice--as soon as I am ready to let go of it I would ship it to some lucky person for just the postage, since it would be wrong to charge anything for it. . .
