This is a new faceplate for my Vypyr 15 that I plan to send to Mojo to get made in preparation for my chop-jobbing it into a head. Kinda went for a mixture of a Fender blackface look while retaining some of Peavey's scripts and highlights from the Classic series, and a couple of touches of Ampeg mixed in there as well.

Here's what the faceplate looks like now...

And here's what I have planned for it...

Why not?

Bottom line, it's a $99 SS amp that I bought 2nd hand for $80, but it's a damn good SS amp for harp if you believe such a thing to be possible, and it could use some sprucing up. Hell, I prefer vintage looks to modern ones any day of the week.

i had a vyper 15 for a while, and immediately removed the silly plastic batwing thingie on the front that made it look like a toy. much better looking after that, but i never got a sound i liked out of it, and eventually gave it away.

Yeah, I took the fangs off mine too when I installed a 12" speaker in it. Sounded alright before, but now with the bigger speaker, it sounds a helluva lot better. Here's a clip of me using it when it still has its 8".
