Hi everyone, I just finished a very rushed gig. The band only had one jam session 2 days before the gig and that was it. We thought we played ok but could have been better.
I was a numbnut and totally forgot to reinforce my amp sound through the PA... Never again. That's the first and last time I ever let that happen.
The venue was intimidating. The videos do no justice to show the actual size of the place. Check out their website here:

On some songs I could cut through better. Please check it out and give me feedback about my playing (if you can hear it). Just turn up the volume if you can't hear me.
Again, really sorry about the shitty volume issue. It won't happen again.

Hey Zhin...that's some cool playing and I could hear the harp fine.
However...shouldn't you guys have been playing accoustically for Earth Day?
We had an earth hour over here in the UK where we all turned off all electrical appliances for an hour.
We did it last night with the kids and had a great night playing charades and signing...it went on for 3 hours in the end. Sad thing is the house was silent again as soon as we turned everything back on.
Anyway, don't want to take away from your playing which was excellent.

Is there a map of how to mic your amps to your mic and the PA and stuff? that would be some really usefull info.

I posted 'how to set up amp thro' pa' on page 10 now of the forum.
Mr Verylongusername gave some very good advice on that post.

Thanks guys, and yeah sorry again about the volume issue.
I'd really appreciate more criticism, comments, and suggestions if that's possible.
Some rating would be nice too.

I put some comments (can't watch all now though) but for some reason I can't rate, I can, but if I re-visit the video the rating is not there... 5 stars from me anyway!

Nice work, man! Yeah--I once played a whole set through the PA and didn't know that the guitar was drowning me out--it sounded OK through the monitors--sometimes I think a good pair of wire cutters would be handy to take care of the loud guitar--and I play the guitar!
One suggestion--you have some really good chops going on the lower 6 of the harp--maybe you could start getting more variations by echoing those chops on the high end now and then--it also cuts through better than the low end.
Anyway, you are doing great! Keep on with it!

OW, you are right on the money about that. I feel the same way about how I play. Am working on those upper holes!
