Seydel makes them in both the 1847 and Session Steel. They also have special lower plates with a notch below hole 1 to prevent reed strike, but it has never been a problem for me.
Have a few in stock and one is half-valved 1-3 to make those notes a bit easier to play. ---------- Greg Jones 16:23 Custom Harmonicas greg@1623customharmonicas.com 1623customharmonicas.com

Don't discount the Big River Low harps. I have three low harps; one BR Lo-Eb (w/a custom aluminum comb from Tom @ BlueMoon) and two 'stock' MB's, Lo-D and Lo-F, and the Big River is, by far, the best of the three. ----------

I have got a hohner thunderbird in low d. It's sweet! Real nice for that low-harp chugging and mid octave third position is fabulous! I haven't tried seydels but I can almost guarantee that you won't be disappointed with a T-bird. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

Hello,
I realize that these have been discontinued in SP 20, but I was looking for these the other day and found both the Special 20 Low D and Low F at this electronics company in Ohio that sells some musical instruments, too. I have not used them, but they do have an online web ordering cart system that shows both models in stock for a decent price.

Hope this helps someone,

No one makes a production model, but I've heard a LLD play. :)
I think actually any Seydel model can be configured from the factory to low D. The steel reed ones go down to low C, and the brass reeds go all the way down to LLF.
