1. Lee Oskar 2. Blues 3. When I was little, the forbidden top drawer of Dad's dresser held 3 fascinations. An old Brownie 35mm, a .32 Cal Revolver (un-loaded) and a Hohner Chromatic, which tasted alot like dirty socks if I recall.

1- Suzuki Manji 2- Blues in its many forms 3- Gramps played harp to me when i was very young. Hearing harp almost everywhere- cowboy movies, vaudeville acts, rock, folk, country- did not hurt either. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene

1. Hohner Marine Band Deluxe 2. Blues, rock & country, trying to learn also some easy jazz and bossa nova 3. My father played (octave) harmonica when I was a child. Another reason for me is that I have only three working fingers in my left hand, so guitar, keyboards etc. were out for me. ---------- Frosty

1. Joe Spires Marine Band 2. Blues 3. After having played Bass in two other blues bands and having delt with musician's ego's I thought I could just pick up the harp, do my own thing and be happy. I was wrong. Playing in a group; no matter what the instrument and making music is most satisfying to me.

1 Suzuki Promaster 2 Jazz (for the genre played on an diatonic), anything good when it comes to listening 3 Always wanted to play music, every other kid got into guitar to get chick and always i found them cocky walking everywhere with their big instrument they could not play hanging in their back. I wanted an harp because you could walk with it anywhere without getting to much attention. That and we were poor at the time, there wasn't any other instrument that was as cheap and sturdy as a diatonic and not cheap when it comes to sounding good and lasting long. After that, it just grew on me the more i dicovered the beast and i didn't even tried to switch to something else when i could afford to.

1. Lee Oskar 2. Music 3. When I was a kid late at night turning the dial of my little AM/FM radio (pre-interwebz days) I stumbled across Nothing But the Blues radio show and heard the ghostly sound of a blues harp drifting out of the tiny speaker... ---------- Paul Cohen aka Komuso Tokugawa HarpNinja - Your harmonica Mojo Dojo Bringing the Boogie to the Bitstream
