So, I just read a review on the new(ish) VHT Special 12/20RT. Have to say....I'm intrigued. It really looks like what most players look for in a smaller amp. Basically a 12/20, but with spring reverb, tube tremolo, line out, effects loop, impedance selector, power selector, AND a pentode/triode switch that'll let you run FOUR different types of output tubes in it, 6V6, EL84, 6L6, or EL34. Can you say "hella-versatile"?! And the "RT" designation makes me think of a beefed-up Dodge!

Has anyone given this thing a whirl yet?

I retract my question. Just now realized it's a new product still on a pre-order status. Doh!

But still ...even despite the relatively high pricetag of $749.00, it does seem like an optimal amp for harp. I'm gonna keep my eye out for them locally.

It looks to be available on Ebay. The non rt 12/20 (no reverb or tremelo) can be had for around $450 with shipping.....take the plunge Hawkeye, and report on it......it does look interesting
