I made this, thinking you might enjoy it today and it might bring a little Tuesday cheer. Everybody loves vampires. Everybody loves the HARPBeats. This was playing in my head last time I watched Nosferatu, so I thought I'd make it a reality. The movie is on Netflix and you should watch it. AND this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Wally flips the 48 chord at the end, because on that split chord he's playing right at the end of "Love Story", he said he liked the tone better when that one note of the split chord was played on from the right side of his mouth. That's how serious these dudes were. They didn't screw around.

"Oh, Eeyore, you are wet!" said Piglet, feeling him. Eeyore shook himself, and asked somebody to explain to Piglet what happened when you had been inside a river for quite a long time.

I guess you can still see it but you gotta click the link to go to Youtube to watch it.
RIght after I put it up, I get this nasty copyright notice from Youtube, that my account was being penalized, is now not in good standing because some company claimed visual content - of Nosferatu, which is public domain.
But it gave me an option to dispute the claim. It made it really clear that if my claim wasn't valid, my youtube account could be deleted - but of course - and I imagined Dr. No petting a cat and typing this - all this could go away if I just deleted the video.
So... in the absence of a button that says "YOU'RE G...DAMN RIGHT I'M DISPUTING THIS BU....IT CLAIM!!" I clicked on "dispute claim."
I'll be interested to see how this turns out. I think it may be covered by copyright in some European countries, but Nosferatu is public domain in the U.S.

I had to go to youtube to watch it. I've watched Nosferatu several times, but I love harmonica trios and I really enjoyed the music. Great players. ---------- Wisdom does not always come with old age. Sometimes old age arrives alone.
We need some real copyright reform, and some real penalties for filing false claims of copyright. I had to deal with that on a harmonica piece I posted on YouTube. It was me playing a tune I wrote!
Those guys are amazing! I have heard that in hallways so so many times never without crying. The Magick those guys have together is unbeatable. Thanks Dave we've talked about it before but wow again right.
Thanks Dave. That was pretty cool. Good fit. Better than Type O Negative. I love the trio. It's easy to get fixated (at least for me) on a single harp player but I love the whole trio sound! ---------- Brad
