I played a breast cancer awareness fundraiser this past Sunday. One of the house amps was a Frontman 212R. I've seen a couple of these before....but not one quite like this....

Very appropo considering the cause. Anyone know if that tolex job was offered by Fender, or is that just cosmetic surgery done later?

At any rate, that thing was a screamer! Band after us was a hard rock power trio and the guitarist was jamming through it on a beak-head bolt-on Jackson. Amazes me how some musicians can take budget model equipment and make it sound so damn killer!

If the Frontman weren't solid state, and an overkilling 100W, I'd be half tempted to pick one up for harp use. But it's just one of the many SS twins that works well for guitar and not for harp.
