I listened to them a bunch of times when I was trying to figure out how to fix your download problem. I should probably check my old MySpace page and see if any of our tracks need to be rescued. Nice stuff. :)

i'm sitting here with chills on my spine David. Hard Time Killing Floor on chro, wow. (who was that asking a question at 3:04 or so?)and funny thing, Jo just spotted this one recently and wants to work it up! i turned her on to Lucinda Williams' version, which is powerful too. i think probably anyone who MEANS it will put chills on the spine of a listener. Jo and i may split verses and back each other on the chorus parts- the moans. since she just got a most killer archtop Epi Swingster guitar i think we'll have some great tools.
Moon Going Down is nice too, is this an original? and btw what key harps are you using Dave?
thank you for sharing these David!! ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene

Thank you Jbone. Moon Going Down was originally done by Charlie Patton. On Moon GOing Down, I'm using a Seydel Chromatic DeLuxe, Richter-tuned in low C. The cool thing about the Richter-tuned chrom was that I had the chords. On Hard Time Killing Floor, I'm using a solo-tuned Hohner 270 D. I still have it. I've had that harmonica since I was 13 or so. ---------- David Elk River Harmonicas

i had a 270 in D as my first chromatic, long before i had any idea about different positions or what to do with one. many years later i began to get the idea, and about then i also began experimenting with sealing combs on mb's. since i had a 270 with a pearwood comb and it seemed leaky, i got the bright idea to drill and tap the reedplates and do a beeswax seal on the comb. what i ended up with was sort of a modern sculpture of an irreparably heat-twisted comb. i had put it in the oven on low heat, guess it was just not low enough! the seal project is long gone. as is the drill/tap/screw project. for the most part if a harp does not have screws through reedplates, and sealed combs, i most likely don't have it in my case.
i have a hering baritono in lowC, another hering in middle C, a 270 in C, and a suz chromatix in G. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene
