I just wanted to thank everyone who commented for helping me with this decision. I'm the guy who was looking at the Peavey Classic 20. I'm sure I could have been happy with any of the other suggestions like a Fender Champ 600, VHT Special 6, Epiphone Valve Jr., etc., but the Brugera is great. What finally turned me away from the Peavey was the feedback. I think you can make the amp dirty by dialing up the preamp volume, but when I did I got a lot of feedback no matter where I located myself. Anyway, the Brugera sounds very cool and the power attenuator allows me to get the preamp and master volume up while keeping the sound level reasonable (at .1 watts). The reverb feature is neat, too, and seems to me to work okay. Thanks again, and for anyone thinking about a low-watt amp, you can't go wrong with this one. Rich

A friend who is a new player (been playing a couple years) bought a Bugera V5 for a practice amp. Quite impressive, really. I played it and liked it. No way is it giggable, but it is fun and cheap.

@Bharper: why not giggable? Because of the volume? Would this be less giggable than a VHT special 6?
