I'm trying to get some info on what loop pedal is most useful for doing Brandons and son of Dave style of music. So if anyone cares to share info of what loop pedals are worth investing in I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, and I may be wrong, but some of the harps used in Brandons and Son of Daves songs sound like low natural minor, does anyone know of low tuned minor harps?
CapitalG, I don't know about the pedals, or specifically if they are using low minor tuned harps, but I know you can configure Seydel harps pretty much any way you want using there harp configurator:
Hi there, Son of Dave uses that Akai Headrush E2 looping pedal, which I also used to use. I currently use a boss RC-30 loop station.
As far as harmonicas, I often use low tuned harmonicas such as Low D, Low E-flat, and Low F-sharp. As far as the minor tuned harp, I use a b-flat natural minor harmonica. ---------- Brandon O. Bailey Official Website of Superchucker
It is the coolest looper I've ever seen. You can create 3-4 SEPARATE loops that are in synch and multiples of each other. Meaning, you can change your dynamics endlessly. It is so bad @$$!
I don't think I've heard any non-Richter tunings from SOD. Standard A, G, and D....then low harps down to C...I can't think of any songs on a Low A or G, for example.
