good stuff greg! i collected arhoolie records and even subscribed to their quarterly magazine.
if i'm not mistaken, chris strachwitz was some kind of lord or something.
he did everything himself it seemed. from tours to writing liner notes on his artists records.
Arhoolie preceded Alligator and Blind Pig records by some years. perhaps influencing them.
