Does anyone play a 364S for blues? What do you think the strengths and weaknesses are of this harp.

They are low harps, except the G, which is the same pitch as a regular G with extra holes on the top end.
They are great harps. They don't tend to rattle like the low-keys of regular harps. You need to change your hand position to play acoustic since they are so big.

The 364S means solo tuning, which is the same as a chromatic, minus the slide, but starts the same as a 270 chromatic. The 364, which arzajac is referring to is the key of C, which uses a larger cover, body, and longer reeds is different than the 364S, which was a poor quality replacement for the Marine Band soloist/School Band mode that Hohner discontinued in 1975. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

well, here is a strength. since it is tuned like the discontinued Hohners -Marine Band soloist/School Band- it will play a nice 3rd position blues. if you have the low C model it will sound exactly like a Chromatic in C but it won't be as bulky. that means you can cup it to a mic easier if you want to play amped up.
